THE PREDICTION
Reading suffered arguably their worst result of the season in midweek after losing 1-0 to ten-man Wycombe. The Royals missed a penalty vs the Championship’s basement side and have now lost four of their last five league games. Still sitting in the playoff places, Reading have little room for more error with just two points separating them from seventh placed Bournemouth. Rotherham are facing struggles of their own as they currently sit in the bottom three having lost their last four Championship games. Therefore, a tight affair is expected between two out of form sides although a reaction will no doubt be forthcoming from a Reading side smarting from midweek. Ultimately, the class of the visitors is likely to tell here and Reading should edge the three points as they take advantage of a home side totally out of form and having not scored in their last three games.
