THE PREDICTION

Sheffield Wednesday suffered a savage blow in their battle for survival this past Wednesday after a goal in injury time saw them go down 1-2 at home to local rivals Rotherham in what was dubbed a relegation six-pointer. It was a miserable start to Darren Moore’s reign as manager and with his side in 23rd-place having lost their last five league games, it’s looking ever more certain than the Owls will be in League One next season. Reading are expected to pile on the misery here and considering that the Royals have won their last two Championship matches, it would be a surprise if they were not to secure the three points that they need in this contest to keep themselves firmly entrenched within the Championship playoff places.
