THE PREDICTION
Despite their excellent home form, Luton have struggled on their travels in recent matches having accrued just two points from their last 15 available away from home. However, Nathan Jones’ side have a good opportunity to start rectifying that at Reading, who are starting to feel the effects of a number of key players not being available due to injury. Defeat at the weekend was their third loss in four Championship matches and the Royals have now slipped out of the playoff places. The hosts will look to take the game to Luton, but the Hatters have the quality to punish them should Reading leave holes in their backline whilst pushing forward. When taking into account the injuries to their two top goalscorers Lucas Joao and Yakou Meite, question marks remain over Reading’s cutting edge in attack and without the goals that those two men provide, Luton may well be able to hold Veljko Paunovic’s side to a draw in this game.
