THE PREDICTION

A cracking match is in prospect at the Madejski Stadium between two promotion chasing sides in outstanding form. Brentford’s unbeaten Championship run extended to an incredible 20 games at the weekend after they thrashed Middlesbrough 1-4 away from home. Reading have not lost in their last seven league matches and have won their most recent three on their own patch. It is expected that the two teams will approach this match with no fear and each will look to attack in a bid to secure what would be a priceless three points. Whilst Brentford have scored a whopping 14 goals in their last three games, the Bees have conceded five goals over the same period and when taking into account the quality of both striker Lucas Joao and attacking midfielder Michael Olise within the Reading ranks, both teams to score should be seriously considered here.
