THE PREDICTION

Sheffield Wednesday shocked everyone on Easter Monday as Darren Moore’s team perhaps finally showed what they are capable of when you consider the seasoned Championship veterans within their squad. The 23rd-placed Owls thrashed Cardiff 5-0, bringing themselves to within seven points of Birmingham in that all-important 21st-spot. The big question is whether they can back this result up against QPR. Confidence is a trait not to be underrated and with Sheffield Wednesday fighting for their Championship lives, they are expected to outlast the hosts over the 90 minutes in terms of energy and commitment. However, the likes of Lyndon Dykes in attack represents a huge threat for the visitors and with Wednesday desperate for three points, Dykes could be afforded chances down the other end as Moore’s side commit bodies forward. With that in mind, both teams to score looks on the cards at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium.
