THE PREDICTION
After their away fixture at Rotherham this past weekend was postponed due to a frozen pitch, QPR host second-placed Brentford in a London derby this Wednesday night. The Bees are fresh from being knockout off the summit of the table by Norwich after their run of 21 games unbeaten came to an end last Sunday with a 0-2 defeat at home to Barnsley. It will be intriguing to see how Thomas Frank’s side reacts from this setback. Brentford will no doubt look to come out and take the game to the hosts. With seven goals in their last two away matches, the visitors will prove difficult to keep out. However, QPR boast some serious attacking tools of their own with the dangerous Charlie Austin up front and despite entering this contest as underdogs, it would be no surprise to see the hosts find the net with Brentford having not kept a clean sheet in their last seven games in all competitions. With that in mind, both teams to score should prove the smart play in this one.
