QPR recent run of five Championship games unbeaten came to an end last time out after losing 2-1 to a struggling Birmingham at St Andrew’s, a disappointing result considering that QPR had led the match up until the last ten minutes. Here they host an in-form Barnsley who are gaining ever closer to those all-important playoff places after bagging their fifth straight league victory at the weekend. Valerien Ismael has done a remarkable job since taking over at the Tykes earlier in the season and they are looking more and more like serious promotion contenders. It’s difficult to see QPR halting the momentum of the visitors and Barnsley draw no bet looks very much the smart play.
