THE PREDICTION
Preston continue to baffle with their results as they followed up two successive defeats with a 2-3 victory away at high flying Bournemouth in midweek. Whilst inconsistent, Alex Neil’s side are clearly capable of springing a positive result on any given matchday. Here they host Wycombe, who saw a run of just one loss in seven league games snapped in midweek, after a 0-1 defeat at home to Stoke City. Goals have proven a problem for the Chairboys, scoring just once in their last five matches but they have an opportunity to correct that against a side who have conceded nine goals in their last three Championship fixtures. When also taking into account Preston’s attack, it’s difficult not to see both sides at least finding the net in this contest. The result meanwhile, could really go either way depending on which Preston side turn up.
