THE PREDICTION
Reading returned to Championship action in emphatic style in midweek after brushing aside Coventry 3-0 at home. They travel to Preston here in a bid to make it four wins in five league matches and maintain their automatic promotion push. Preston had struggled at home for long periods this season, but seem to have sorted out the Deepdale hoodoo that plagued them earlier in the campaign, having won three of their last four league games at home. Alex Neil’s side come into this game however, having lost three of their last four matches in all competitions. Reading certainly have the quality to capitalise on such a run of form and with Veljko Paunovic’s men high on confidence right now, the visitors draw no bet may prove the shrewd play here.
