THE PREDICTION
Two wins in succession for Bournemouth keeps them just inside the playoff places, but with in-form Barnsley just a point behind them, the Cherries cannot afford to slip up here away to Preston. The hosts were 3-0 victors over Huddersfield in their last fixture at Deepdale, but they failed to back that up in midweek after losing away to Millwall. Alex Neil’s men have now won just once in their last five games and against a visiting side boasting such strength in depth, this will prove a tough task for them to get any points from. However, with four goals in their last two games, the Lilywhites have at least appeared to plug their problems finding the net that they had suffered from in the weeks previous to those matches. The reverse fixture between the two sides saw lots of goalmouth action, with Preston coming out on top in a 2-3 thriller at the Vitality Stadium and both teams to score is expected once again here.
