THE PREDICTION

After an incredibly disappointing 0-1 defeat at home to Birmingham, Neil Warnock’s Middlesbrough look to bounce back here on the road as they travel to an in-form Nottingham Forest. Chris Hughton’s side triumphed 3-1 over Millwall at the weekend, their third successive win in all competitions and their seventh match unbeaten. Whilst they will look to get on the front foot here, Middlesbrough will set up defensively rigid away from home and will prove a dogged outfit that won’t be easy to break down. Forest must also be aware of the potential sucker punch on the break that Boro could provide if they throw too many bodies forward. Whilst the result itself could go either way in this one, expect under 2.5 goals with little in the way of goalmouth action.
