THE PREDICTION

The one major positive Nottingham Forest can take in their 2-1 defeat to Norwich in midweek was that they found the net. It was their first goal in six Championship matches and a small platform that they could potentially build on ahead of the visit of Brentford. The Bees come into this match following a disappointing 0-0 draw at home to lowly Derby and will be looking to bounce back against the Rams’ East Midlands’ rivals. Chris Hughton will set up his side to likely contain the normally free-scoring Bees which may lead to a low scoring encounter with under 2.5 goals in the game. Brentford have proven themselves as very tough to beat however, having not lost in their last ten league matches. With that in mind, the visitors double chance appears the smart play here.
