THE PREDICTION

Both these sides come into this match off the back of defeat with Middlesbrough beaten 2-0 by Barnsley last weekend and QPR losing 3-1 in midweek to Rotherham. Only one point and one place currently separate the two in the table, however Middlesbrough head into this one in significantly poorer form having accrued only one point from their last four league games. QPR meanwhile, may be suffering from physical fatigue heading into this one having played just four days ago, whilst Middlesbrough have enjoyed a full week of rest. Either way, with little on the line in terms of promotion or relegation an entertaining game may be in prospect as the two sides are afforded more attacking freedom from their respective managers. With that in mind, consider over 2.5 goals scored in this one.
