THE PREDICTION

Preston have picked up just one point from their last three Championship matches following their extremely poor 1-0 loss at the hands of rock bottom Wycombe at the weekend. Middlesbrough meanwhile, put their sense of injustice away at Swansea to one side as they took out their frustrations on Stoke, beating the Potters 3-0. With Neil Warnock’s men currently riding the crest of a wave, the hosts are expected to carry their momentum into this game and against a Preston side low on confidence and perhaps motivation with their season all but other, it would be a surprise if Middlesbrough do not make it two home wins in the space of four days.
