THE PREDICTION

Both Middlesbrough and Luton are coming off the back of 3-0 victories at the weekend over Millwall and Preston respectively. The two wins each came at home and it’s Middlesbrough who have the home field advantage here as the Hatters make the long journey up north. Nathan Jones’ side have struggled on their travels in recent weeks, having not won in their last four away matches. Despite such a resounding victory four days ago, Middlesbrough will prove a different test entirely with their physicality under Neil Warnock always difficult for any opposition to deal with. A close game is expected, but that all-important home advantage could prove the difference here with the Teesiders having enough quality in depth to edge out victory.
