THE PREDICTION

An entertaining 3-2 victory for Brentford over Bristol City in midweek made it 19 Championship games unbeaten for the Bees and moved them into the automatic promotion places. They may be back in third place by the time this match kicks off depending on Swansea’s result over Norwich the night before. Middlesbrough aren’t in the best of form, having lost three of their last four league games, however a number of new signings such as wingers Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Neeskens Kebano could be introduced in this match to give Neil Warnock’s side more of an attacking edge. Such firepower however is offset by the potential absence of key defender Dael Fry who would prove a big miss for the hosts. Either way, an entertaining game is in prospect and both teams are expected to find the net regardless of who comes out on top.
