THE PREDICTION
Despite currently sitting in the bottom three, Rotherham’s Championship survival firmly lies in their own hands. Two wins from their final two league games will see them safe with Derby and Sheffield Wednesday facing each other on the final day of the season and the Millers boasting a significantly better goal difference than both. However, Paul Warne’s side have failed to win in their last six Championship matches with a 1-1 draw at home to Blackburn at the weekend ending a run of five successive defeats. Luton are finishing the season strongly having not lost in five league games and this will be an incredibly tough encounter for the visitors at Kenilworth Road who will no doubt be suffering physically from such a long run of games in such short notice. However, their desperation to survive at all costs may see the Rotherham players gain a second wind as they commit themselves fully to every second ball and cover every blade of the grass in this match. Despite Luton’s obvious quality going forward with eight goals over the course of their last five fixtures, Warne’s men are more than capable of picking up another precious point here and should be considered double chance as they look to put themselves in the best possible position heading into the final round of fixtures.
