THE PREDICTION

Huddersfield followed up their 5-0 hammering away at Bournemouth with a much-improved display against Coventry as they returned to Yorkshire with a point after a 0-0 draw. Here they host Watford as the Hornets look to close the gap on the top two. Away from home this season, Watford have struggled in contrast to their good home record and Huddersfield will feel like they have a chance to take advantage of this. However, with such a busy Championship fixture schedule, fatigue could come into play here which would likely put Huddersfield at a disadvantage considering the two long away trips they have already undertaken over the week. Combine that with Watford’s overwhelming strength in depth that comes from being in last season’s Premier League and Vladimir Ivic’s men will be expected to come on strong as this match goes on, ultimately securing a second away win in three matches on their travels.
