THE PREDICTION

Both these sides suffered defeats last weekend, with Huddersfield thrashed 5-2 at the hands of Blackburn at Ewood Park. The Terriers could still go down if they were to lose their remaining two matches and 22nd-placed Rotherham were to win their last three but this is a very unlikely scenario. Either way, Huddersfield will want to ensure safety themselves vs Coventry, who saw a three-game winning streak come to an end at the hands of Preston last time out. Knowing that victory secures their Championsip status, the home side are unlikely to take any unnecessary risks and will be expected to prioritise defensive stability after a nightmare performance from their backline last weekend. This may lead to a turgid affair at the John Smith's Stadium, but with Coventry having little to play for and Huddersfield the very opposite, the hosts may end up ultimately outworking the visitors here as they scrap for their Championship lives, which should lead to them having just enough quality going forward to outscore the stubborn visitors and seal the three points that will keep them safe from the drop.
