THE PREDICTION
Derby backed up victory against Millwall last weekend with a more than respectable 0-0 draw away at Brentford in midweek as the Rams attempt to break out of the Championship bottom three. Here they host Stoke, whose could not back up their two consecutive victories with a third, as they were beaten 0-1 at home to Cardiff last time out. The Potters led that game and had the chance to seal it, but substitute Sam Vokes missed a penalty to make it 2-0 and the rest is history! Michael O’Neill will rally his troops though and the Potters who have not conceded in their last three away league games, will prove extremely difficult for a side like Derby to breach. With that in mind, under 2.5 goals are expected in this match, whilst Stoke will be confident of grabbing a goal and sneaking a smash and grab victory on the road.
