THE PREDICTION
A last-gasp penalty awarded to Wycombe in midweek gave them a 2-1 win over Bristol City and saw the Championship’s bottom-placed side remind everyone once again that they will not be relegated without a fight. They travel to Cardiff, who despite having flirted with the playoffs under manager Mick McCarthy now look to be destined for a mid-table finish. The visitors know that only victory will do here and will look to attack whenever possible despite being away from home. Whilst this will cause problems for Cardiff, they may also be afforded more space themselves inside the opposition half as Wycombe push bodies forward whenever possible. Regardless of which way the result of this match goes, both teams to score should be favoured for what would be the fourth successive Championship fixture involving Cardiff.
