THE PREDICTION
Cardiff head into this match vs Nottingham Forest in great spirits and no doubt still on a high after their South Wales derby victory over bitter rivals Swansea, even though that match took place almost two weeks ago now. Their opponents in contrast have gone six Championship games without a win and whilst they shouldn’t fall back into relegation trouble, Chris Hughton’s side do need to keep an eye over their shoulders. The Bluebirds though, are still in the hunt for those playoff places, with four points currently separating them from sixth-placed Reading and such motivation will ensure that the hosts start this game on the front foot and look to capitalise on their threat from set pieces, using Welsh international striker Kieffer Moore as a focal point. Mick McCarthy’s men are riding the crest of a wave and Cardiff should ultimately overpower Forest and secure a big three points here at home.
