THE PREDICTION

Lee Bowyer secured his second victory as Birmingham manager in their first match back following the international break after an outstanding performance saw them secure a fully deserved three points over automatic promotion chasing Swansea thanks to a late Scott Hogan penalty. They now need to follow that up on the road as they travel to another promotion battling side in Brentford. The Bees are coming off the back of being held 1-1 away to Huddersfield and with home advantage in their favour here, will look to impose their high intensity, fast passing style of play on the Blues. However, Birmingham carry a huge threat themselves and will give nothing less than 100% under Bowyer as they continue their fight to stay out of the bottom three. Whilst they head into this encounter as underdogs, Birmingham double chance may well prove a shrewd play.
