THE PREDICTION

Despite having already secured their place in the playoffs, Bournemouth will be desperate to head into the playoffs on the back of some winning momentum, especially having been beaten 1-0 by rock bottom Wycombe last weekend. Not to mention the fact that three points, combined with Swansea failing to beat Watford would see Bournemouth overtake the Swans and secure a home playoff semi-final second leg. Stoke at home should provide the ideal opponent for the Cherries, with the visitors suffering from a spate on injuries and having failed to win their last six Championship matches. Whilst complacency could prove an issue on the final day of the season, along with Bournemouth minds perhaps focused on the bigger games that lie ahead, Jonathan Woodgate’s squad should still boast enough all-round ability and strength in depth to come out on top in this one.
