THE PREDICTION
Bournemouth currently sit seventh in the Championship, three points outside the playoff places which with the quality of their squad has to be considered a disappointment. With fifth-placed Barnsley hosting sixth-placed Reading on the same day, this represents a massive chance for the Cherries to close the gap on at least one of the two sides and would even overtake Reading should they win and the Royals lose in Yorkshire. However, Jonathan Woodgate and his side will find it very difficult to break down what will no doubt be a stubborn Middlesbrough side. Woodgate began his managerial career the Teesiders and will be desperately hoping to get one over his hometown club here. However, Neil Warnock will no doubt set his team up in a disciplined nature with each player knowing that role as they look to utilise pace out wide to catch the hosts on the counter attack. A cagey encounter is therefore expected, with under 2.5 goals scored on the cards.
