THE PREDICTION
A thumping 1-4 win away at Millwall in midweek was Bournemouth’s seventh straight Championship win and they are starting to look very much like the early favourites to win the play-offs at the end of the season, with Watford eight points and likely too far ahead in second-place to be caught. Fellow top six side Brentford can leapfrog the Cherries with victory here and themselves have not lost in their last eight Championship games. The Bees should prove the biggest threat yet to Bournemouth’s winning run and a close contest looks on the cards between two very strong sides. Goals are likely to be at a premium in this one and under 2.5 goals scored over the course of 90 minutes is expected for what would be the sixth time in Brentford’s last seven league matches.
