THE PREDICTION

Nottingham Forest fell to an extremely disappointing 0-2 loss at home to Huddersfield this past weekend, ending a run of four unbeaten Championship matches. The defeat felt very much like the home side were going through the motions with Chris Hughton’s side currently sat in mid-table with their season petering out. Birmingham however, secured what could was an absolutely crucial win in their quest for survival, beating Rotherham 0-1 and extending their unbeaten run under new boss Lee Bowyer to four games, with ten points accrued from their last 12 available to them. The Blues’ home form under Bowyer has been most impressive, securing three wins from three games at St Andrew’s and another three points should be on the cards for Birmingham here against a side with a half an eye likely on their summer holidays already.
