THE PREDICTION

Birmingham have secured their survival in Championship for another season following a remarkable upturn in form since the appointment of Lee Bowyer as manager. The Blues have won five, drawn two and lost just one of the eight league games played since Bowyer has taken charge, including ten points from a possible 12 at St Andrew’s. They’ll be looking to continue this sparkling home form against Cardiff, who despite having not lost in their last four fixtures are now unable to make the playoffs. With the Bluebirds nursing a number of injury concerns, Bowyer’s men may be set to take advantage and when considering their incredible home form along with the current momentum they possess, Birmingham have to be favoured for victory.
