THE PREDICTION
Barnsley bounced back from their defeat vs Coventry in the perfect fashion by securing a hard-fought 0-1 victory away at Huddersfield, which saw the gap between them and seventh-placed Reading be extended to six points. They host Rotherham here in another big Yorkshire derby, with the visitors fighting for their lives to try and escape the bottom three. The Millers will consider themselves extremely hard done by last time after the controversial sending off of Matt Crooks with Paul Warne’s side 1-0 up vs Middlesbrough led to them losing 1-2, their third successive Championship defeat. The physical and mental exertion used up already by Rotherham in their survival battle has likely taken its toll on Warne’s men and against a confident side who pride themselves and growing into games as they go on rather than falling out of them, it’s difficult to envisage any outcome other than a Barnsley victory in this one with home advantage in their favour.
