THE PREDICTION
It has to be said that VVV-Venlo are the entertainers of the Eredivisie. Even if their 13-0 defeat to Ajax was to be ignored as an anomaly and a freak, they have still been involved in an average of 3.8 goals per game in the other ten matches. They are the highest-scoring team in the Dutch league outside of those in the top eight but have conceded the most of anyone. Georgios Giakoumakis continues to lead the line of a fairly dysfunctional but very fun VVV side. They are up against a Feyenoord side who bowed out of the Europa League following a 1-0 defeat in Austria against Wolfsberger. This result has extended their winless run to five in all competitions. VVV will fancy their chances of at least scoring and putting the pressure on Feyenoord haven’t kept a clean sheet in the league away from home since the opening day.
