THE PREDICTION
Vitesse’s impressive season was halted and hindered by a 2-1 defeat in their last match against PEC Zwolle. They started well by taking the lead but Idrissa Toure’s red card changed the game mid-way through the second half allowing Zwolle to turn the game on its head. Thankfully Ajax also lost so the home side remain in touching distance of the top-of-the-table. They come up against a Heerenveen side who have drawn their three most recent matches. The first two of those draws being fairly disappointing ones against Waalwijk and Den Haag but a battling 2-2 draw against PSV, in which Heerenveen led going into added time, was an impressive one. Vitesse, despite a good season, have conceded in more than half of their games. Heerenveen have conceded in nine of their 11 matches. Vitesse and BTTS could be a solid bet as the home team look to bounce back in their title challenge.
