THE PREDICTION
Heerenveen have enjoyed a good start to the new campaign with three wins and a draw from their opening four games, but this match against Ajax represents their biggest test so far. It’s probably not a bad time to face the hosts though, as they have yet to hit top form this season - even though they have won three out of four games. Ajax also have a big UEFA Champions League tie against Liverpool on the horizon so it will be hard for them to be fully focused on this game. This is not to say that a win for Heerenveen is likely, as Ajax should have the quality to get over the line - but it should be a competitive fixture and there looks to be value in backing both teams to score.
