THE PREDICTION
Lanus produced a superb second leg performance to overturn a one-goal deficit against Bolivar as they romped into the last eight of the Copa Sudamericana. They have shown signs of improvement of late but they have still won just three of their last nine so they will be tested in this tie with Independiente. The visitors saw off Fenix in comfortable fashion as they won both legs of their last 16 clash and they arrive for this contest on the back of four successive victories. They are also yet to taste defeat in all ten matches since returning to action in October and with them showing great consistency, they should be able to earn at least a draw in this first leg.
