THE PREDICTION
This looks to be a mouth-watering clash between two in-form teams in the quarter-finals of the Copa Libertadores as Libertad take on Palmeiras. Libertad were 5-1 aggregate winners against Jorge Wilstermann in the last 16, while Palmerias enjoyed even greater success as they smashed Delfin 8-1 over the two legs. There is little to split the two teams with the hosts losing just one of their last eight in all competitions but for the Brazilians, it is just one defeat in 14. The Paraguayan side have been inconsistent on home soil of late having won three and lost three of their last six so that opens the door for the away side who can come away with at least a draw under their belt.
