Trinidad and Tobago have had a couple of years of derisory football in which they face a potential spell in the international wilderness even from continental competition. That shouldn’t be the case here, though, as they come into this match as the relatively comfortable favourites. French Guiana got a bye into this next stage of the competition after Cuba’s withdrawal. Their Nations League form of just two wins in their six matches is more reflective of a poor team. This should be a much needed win for Angus Eve’s Trinidad.
