Three wins from three for Costa Rica saw them comfortably top Group C, earning them a meeting with Canada for a semi-final spot. This will represent their toughest test yet, having only kept one clean sheet from their three group games, going up against a side who scored eight goals across the three tournament matches they have played so far. The pace of striker Cyle Larin for Canada in particular is likely to cause Luis Fernando Suarez’s men huge problems, but when taking into account the threat also posed by the likes of Joel Campbell and Bryan Ruiz for Costa Rica going forward, the stage looks set for an entertaining encounter containing plenty of goalmouth action.
