THE PREDICTION
It was a disappointing 2021 season for Santos but they did still manage Copa Sudamericana qualification. Fabian Bustos’ side have started their 2022 campaign a 1-0 defeat to Banfield in the Sudamericana groups and then a goalless draw away to Fluminense. They did manage a 3-2 win at home to Universidad Catolica in midweek, though. They now come up against newly-promoted Coritiba that started their campaign with a 3-0 hammering of Goias last weekend. The visitors were very impressive last week and will prove a tough test for Santos. This should be a good match and both teams scoring looks a good bet for this one.
