THE PREDICTION
Paulo Sousa’s Flamengo shared a 2-2 draw with Talleres de Cordoba in their most recent outing during the midweek in the group stages of the Copa Libertadores. The home team have lost just one of their opening ten matches in Serie A and the Libertadores. They now come up against a Botafogo side that come into this on the back of one win, two draws and a defeat in Serie A, following promotion last season. Flamengo will be expected to challenge for the title this season and, especially with home advantage, they will come into this one as the firm favourites.
