THE PREDICTION
These two sides were promoted last season at the first attempt, following both being relegated in 2020. Coritiba come into this on the back of a 2-0 defeat away to Atletico Goianiense in their most recent outing, last weekend. The hosts have won three, drawn one and lost three of their opening seven matches. Botafogo have won three, drawn three and lost just one of their opening seven as the sit on the cusp of the top four at this early stage. A draw would appear the likeliest outcome between these two evenly matched sides that have started their respective seasons well.
