THE PREDICTION
The home team come into this on the back of a 1-1 draw with Luiz Felipe Scolari’s in-form Athletico Paranaense during the midweek. Corinthians begin the weekend’s round of fixtures sitting second in the table after just two defeats in their opening 12 matches. They now come up against a Goias side that, following promotion last season, have won three of their opening 12 sitting just outside of the bottom four and the relegation places. Corinthians, especially with home advantage, are the firm favourites for this one.
