THE PREDICTION
Following promotion last season, Botafogo have begun their 2022 campaign with relatively strong form. An opening day defeat at home to a strong Corinthians side was followed by a four-match unbeaten run with two victories and two draws. The hosts now come up against a Fortaleza side that come into this on the back of a terrible start to the season. They finished 2021 poorly and remain winless in their opening four matches of this campaign. The visitors have scored just two goals. Given that Botafogo have managed just seven, despite playing well, under 2.5 goals and a double chance bet in favour of the hosts looks the way to go for this one.
