THE PREDICTION
Tiago Nunes’ Gremio have started the Serie A season in really poor form with three defeats out of three so far this season. Those three games have seen them lose by just a goal in each one. 2021’s marquee signings of Rafinha and Douglas Costa are yet to make an appearance yet for the home team. They come up against a Santos side that are on the back of 2-0 victory over fellow stumbling giants Sao Paulo at the weekend. However, that was only their second victory of the season as they move into the top-half of-the-table. They haven’t necessarily been convincing and, given how tight Gremio’s three matches have been, this one looks like it could be a draw.
