This is an important clash between two teams that could still mount a challenge for the Serie A title as Gremio host Flamengo. The hosts will be eager to respond after suffering their first loss in 17 league matches against Internacional at the weekend. That came on the back of three draws in succession and they simply cannot afford to drop any further points if they want to stay in touch with the teams above them.
