Sint-Truiden did just enough to escape relegation last season as they finished in 15^th place of the Belgian Pro League and they will be eager to embark on a less stressful campaign this time around. This looks a pretty tough opening fixture, though, against a Gent side who finished their campaign strong enough to qualify for the UEFA Conference League with four straight wins in the play-offs.
