THE PREDICTION
Anderlecht needed a second-half penalty to rescue a point at home to Gent on Thursday night but they look to be solidifying at home once again, where the majority of their points were won last season. The point at home to Gent took them up to third in the Belgian Pro League ahead of this weekend’s fixtures and just three points behind Club Brugge after eight matches played. They face the reigning champions next weekend, so a positive result away at KV Oostende is the order of the day to maintain their three-match unbeaten streak. KV Oostende started the season like a train but fell away just as quickly. They snapped a three-match losing streak by beating Beerschot 3-1 at home last Saturday and should be the more confident for it but Anderlecht should be able to avoid defeat here with just one loss on the road to Genk so far. Take the away side at double chance to cover for a potential draw for a pretty cautious pick. Both teams not to score would probably be the most suitable addition but realistically not worth the risk here.
