Kortrijk are on cloud nine after two matches as they top the Belgian pro League table on their own with back-to-back wins to nil against RFC Seraing and now Antwerp. Beating Antwerp 0-1 away from home on Sunday is mightily impressive against last season’s runners-up and Kortrijk are on their own at the top as the only side with a 100% record to maintain. Genk are carrying back-to-back defeats across all competitions after a 3-4 defeat at home by KV Oostende last Friday was made worse by a 1-2 loss at home to Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League qualifiers and they will have half a mind on that second leg next Tuesday to combat too.
