THE PREDICTION
Last season’s surprise package Beerschot grabbed their first point of the new Belgian Pro League campaign in a 2-2 draw away at Gent last Sunday. The side who briefly topped the league last November as a newly-promoted team will face the current First Division B champions Union Saint-Gilloise now with the latter hoping to emulate them. Three points from two matches against Anderlecht and Club Brugge is mightily impressive and Union were just six minutes away from holding Club Brugge to a 0-0 draw last time out. On that form this is difficult to call and with their last meetings coming two seasons ago in the second division this looks a clean slate.
