Beerschot desperately needed the international break to take a breath after a torrid first six games of the new Belgian Pro League saw them rock-bottom with one point. The goals look to be returning to last season’s surprise packages after two hefty defeats to Club Brugge, 3-2, and Sporting Charleroi, 5-2, but they must get back to doing what they did last year – scoring more than they concede. A visit from Sint-Truiden could be useful in their search for a first win but having struggled all last season they have already picked up seven points from six matches.
