THE PREDICTION
Union Saint-Gilloise lost 1-0 at Club Brugge on Wednesday night to fall agonisingly short right at the end of the Belgian Pro League season, with back-to-back defeats to the reigning and champions elect taking the title out of their hands. They can still win if they take their remaining two games and Club Brugge lose at least one of theirs but it seems unlikely now as they take a three-match winless run to a tough place to go. Anderlecht beat Antwerp 2-1 at home on Thursday night to maintain a six-match unbeaten run here with only Club Brugge stopping them from taking all three points in that span. USG did enjoy a 1-3 smash and grab here back in July and they have won each of their three meetings this season but given their record in recent weeks backing the visitors to at even avoid defeat with double chance seems a risk. Draw no bet for hosts Anderlecht looks the sensible call.
