Genk’s new manager Jess Thorup had to settle for a 2-2 draw against Oostende in his first match in charge last weekend with a goal seven minutes from time denying him a winning start. The Dane is not likely to have to wait long for a victory though as they face a struggling Waasland-Beveren team in this game. The hosts have lost six out of their last seven league matches and with an average of three goals conceded per game it is obvious where their problems are. Genk have not exactly been defending well either and have shipped in two or more goals in three of their last four outings, but they should be capable of outscoring Waasland-Beveren nonetheless.
